New Etsy Photos

This month has been devoted to cleaning up my studio after the craziness of the last quarter of 2014.
I still have to finish off the books and get all the info to my lovely accountant!

I have been selling my 5x5 art prints mounted on wood at the fairs last year, but the listing are new to my Etsy Store. I also want to revamp all my Etsy photography.
My husband hung this shelf for me to use as a prop and I love it!

I do love how the distressed white shelf works for displaying my art.

Hopefully, here in the northeast we will have some more sunny days so that I can continue with more items!
There is more snow predicted for this evening.......

The holidays were wonderful!

It has been a crazy busy holiday season this year.
Our trip out to see the guiness lights. The pictures are horrible but the show was fantastic! It was impossible to get all the lights at once since they were blinking in time to music.
My new ornament designs went over well and I was gratefully busy putting together last minute orders.

A lovely Christmas Eve, with a visit from Santa and a beautiful Midnight Mass at our little Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel.

A trip to NYC on Tuesday to meet the lovely Lindsay and see all the New Years Eve preparations in Times Square.
We spent the day walking and eating the best food, watching the people and ice skaters eating more and coming home tired.

We celebrated our Christmas on New Years Eve since our son and Lindsay couldn't make it home until a few days before. Rocky is enjoying his celebrations. He loves it when the family is all together.
.....and so do I :)

The new year also brought a wedding and a new daughter-in-law!
On a lovely snowy afternoon our son Dana married the beautiful Christine!

I am so blessed......

Getting Ready for Christmas!

The tree is ready.....but I'm not.
A ton of last minute orders to fill which I am so thankful for.
Shopping to do this weekend. I have done a bunch online,
but it is fun to go out, take my time, have lunch out at a nice
little cafe and people watch.
I want to ride out to LaGrange, NY a small town
not far from me that has a house that holds the
Guiness Book of Records for the largest Christmas Light display.
I'll take pictures.....

Gingerbread Sunday

I really should call it Gingerbread Week! I start a few days ahead
making the four sides of the houses. We started cheating a bit a few years ago and we use graham crackers for the roof. They are lighter weight and the house will set up quicker.
I have the dining room table covered with plastic to make clean up quicker.
As my family comes in the candy pile gets larger and larger.....
So many decisions to be made, which candies to place where....
It is very serious at times.
Everyone get involved with ideas to share and sometimes a bit of a competition starts!
It's always a super fun day of eating and creating and enjoying each others company.
p.s.      and they all leave with a sugar high!!!
p.p.s.   please note my clean chandelier!!!

Busy Times....

This is my good boy Rocky who at this moment in time is very upset because.....
this spoiled kitty Thomas is on my lap. Every night it is the same thing. Rocky upset that Thomas is on my lap. I wish that I could get Rocky's whining on video, but he stops as soon as I pick up the phone to record. I think that he is camera shy!
Two turkeys are needed for the crowd that comes for Thanksgiving every year and these two are expert carvers!
My poor husband was raking leaves on Tuesday and shoveling snow on Wednesday.
The Northern Virginia Christmas Market was fun and I met some fantastic people.
A few more small shows and then a nice quiet January.

The Christmas Market in Chantilly, VA

A major push to finish many projects...
I looked like a hurricane blew through my studio!
 Everything did get packed securely.
The beltway traffic around DC was horrible!!!

It was a lovely three days, I met some fantastic people
and I miss them already!

Preparations for the Northern Virginia Christmas Market

I set up an additional table to hold projects in the works.....
My Curiosity Boxes in various stages of completion.
The bigger the mess, the more creativity going on.
